It is, in fact, one of my favourite sports. I would say that it is even more than just a game; it is a way of life, a passion that runs deep within my roots. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Since the age of 6, I have always been intrigued by the world of golf. I enjoyed watching my father coach my brother and his students. From there, I slowly started to learn how to play, and the rest came naturally. I spent most of my childhood on the golf course, may it be for competitions, golf camps or even a day out with the family. As I grew older, I enjoyed every swing, every win, the tranquillity of the course, the challenges of each hole, and the camaraderie during a game. Most golfers will agree when I say that, during a match, there is nothing more exhilarating than hitting that perfect shot or sinking that one long putt in one go.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">That being said, the world of golf can be very challenging at times. T<\/span><span class=\"s2\">here are days where nothing goes well, where there are many bad shots and defeats, which can be very nerve-racking. But these moments have taught me the importance of patience, perseverance, discipline, consistency, and hard work.<\/span><span class=\"s1\"> However, certain myths surround this sport. Especially when it comes to women\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"arrow\">\u00abIt\u2019s a man\u2019s, man\u2019s, man\u2019s world\u00bb<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">It is often said that golf is a \u00abGentleman\u2019s Game\u00bb. In fact, it was historically dominated by men. But this game belongs to anyone who enjoys and respects it, regardless of gender. At the end of the day, it is about skills, dedication, and passion. Therefore, I would like to encourage anyone who wants to play golf, women in particular, to pursue their dream without reservation. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Though it is true that<b> <\/b>stereotypes and misconceptions are still very present in today\u2019s world, we should not let them have an impact on us. Women have proven themselves to be as good as men. A personal example of this, was when I won the main prize at a Club Open in 2015. I was around 16 years old and the first female player to ever win that prize. This remains one of my greatest achievements. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Although there is still room for improvement when it comes to representation and recognition, I believe that we can all bring a unique perspective and skill set to the game. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"arrow\">\u00abIt is old-fashioned\u00bb<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Well, it is far from true\u2026 On the contrary, golf is a powerful tool for networking and relationship-building. For example, in the competitive world of Insurance, cultivating strong relationships is essential. Through golf, it is possible to forge invaluable connections with colleagues, clients, and industry peers. The relaxed atmosphere of the course provides an ideal setting for meaningful conversations and bonding opportunities. Whether it is discussing business strategies on the fairway or sealing deals over a post-round drink, golf facilitates connections that can propel someone\u2019s career forward. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Conclusion, there are myths surrounding the place of women in the golf world, but the reality is really different\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row-full-width vc_clearfix\"><\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"With its unique blend of athleticism, strategy, and tradition, golf is a sport that captivates millions around the world.
