Tu es s\u00fbre de toi ?\u00bb \u00abEst-ce que cela ne risque pas d\u2019impacter sur ta vie de famille ?\u00bb, \u00abTu n\u2019as plus 20 ans, tu sais. Tu es s\u00fbre de vouloir recommencer \u00e0 z\u00e9ro ?\u00bb<\/i>\u2026 Ce sont autant d\u2019arguments qui m\u2019ont \u00e9t\u00e9 expos\u00e9s quand l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 de changer de m\u00e9tier s\u2019est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e \u00e0 moi. En effet, il y a presqu\u2019un an, je me suis retrouv\u00e9e face \u00e0 un dilemme de taille\u00a0: quitter la stabilit\u00e9 pour relever un nouveau d\u00e9fi. En l\u2019occurrence, quitter 15 ans d\u2019exp\u00e9rience dans la presse, une excellente \u00e9cole de vie, pour faire mes premiers pas dans l\u2019industrie de l\u2019assurance. Malgr\u00e9 toutes ces raisons qui auraient pu me dissuader, j\u2019ai fait le choix de la reconversion professionnelle. Non sans prendre en consid\u00e9ration plusieurs facteurs\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"arrow\">\u2026 La famille.<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1 translation-block\"><span class=\"s1\"><i>\u00abIl y a plus d\u2019id\u00e9es dans deux t\u00eates que dans une\u00bb<\/i>, a dit Jacques Chirac. Ainsi, avant de prendre une d\u00e9cision, il est bon d\u2019en parler\u2026 \u00c0 sa famille, \u00e0 ses amis, voire \u00e0 un professionnel. Dans mon cas, avec l\u2019apparition de la pand\u00e9mie de Covid-19 \u00e0 Maurice, j\u2019ai \u00e9t\u00e9 amen\u00e9e \u00e0 travailler de la maison pendant presque quatre ans. Du coup, la famille, les enfants notamment, s\u2019\u00e9tait habitu\u00e9e \u00e0 ma pr\u00e9sence constante \u00e0 la maison. Recommencer \u00e0 travailler en pr\u00e9sentiel voulait donc dire que je ne serais plus l\u00e0 \u00e0 la sortie de l\u2019\u00e9cole, par exemple. Mes filles \u00e9taient-elles pr\u00eates pour \u00e7a\u00a0? Mon mari \u00e9tait-il pr\u00eat pour \u00e7a\u00a0? \u00c9tant donn\u00e9 que notre vie \u00e0 tous allait \u00e9ventuellement changer, nous avons d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d\u2019avoir un temps de r\u00e9flexion en famille. Un temps o\u00f9 chacun aurait son mot \u00e0 dire sur la situation. Un temps o\u00f9 chacun serait aussi \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9coute de l\u2019autre. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"arrow\">\u2026 Les possibilit\u00e9s d\u2019\u00e9volution.<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><i>\u00abToute croissance commence \u00e0 la fin de votre zone de confort\u00bb,<\/i> observe le coach en d\u00e9veloppement Anthony Robbins. Et je suis on ne peut plus d\u2019accord. Enfant, d\u00e9j\u00e0, mes parents me disaient toujours qu\u2019il fallait bosser dur pour avancer dans la vie, pour grandir, sur tous les plans\u00a0: professionnel, personnel, familial, spirituel\u2026 Quitte \u00e0, parfois, sortir de sa zone de confort. En grandissant, j\u2019ai compris toute l\u2019importance du dur labeur, j\u2019ai compris le d\u00e9sir de mes parents de me voir \u00e9voluer. Et c\u2019est ce m\u00eame d\u00e9sir de grandir, qui a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 mon choix final.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"arrow\">\u2026 Le discernement.<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><i>\u00abApprendre \u00e0 discerner est l'une des choses les plus importantes que nous ayons \u00e0 faire dans notre vie, et cela requiert un savoir, une conscience, une r\u00e9flexion personnelle\u00bb,<\/i> \u00e9crit l\u2019auteur Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Lenoir. Ce \u00e0 quoi j\u2019adh\u00e8re. Mais \u00e0 cette citation, j\u2019ajouterai le discernement spirituel. D\u2019autant plus que ma vie quotidienne est indissociable de ma vie chr\u00e9tienne. D\u2019ailleurs, au moment m\u00eame o\u00f9 il me fallait prendre la d\u00e9cision de changer de m\u00e9tier (ou pas), je suivais un parcours spirituel qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 un excellent outil de discernement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">J\u2019ai os\u00e9 recommencer \u00e0 z\u00e9ro. Et cela fera bient\u00f4t un an que j\u2019ai rejoint l\u2019\u00e9quipe d\u2019EllGeo Re. Un an que je ne cesse de grandir, que je ne cesse d\u2019\u00e9voluer, sur tous les plans. En apprenant, \u00e9videmment, de mes erreurs. D\u2019ailleurs, il y a quelques semaines, de plus grandes responsabilit\u00e9s m\u2019ont \u00e9t\u00e9 confi\u00e9es. L\u2019industrie de l\u2019assurance \u00e9tant tr\u00e8s dynamique, comme plusieurs de mes paires, j\u2019ai connu une \u00e9volution professionnelle, passant d\u2019Assistante Administrative \u00e0 Broker Support. Cela passe, \u00e9videmment, par beaucoup de travail. Par des moments plus joyeux et d\u2019autres plus difficiles. Mais lorsque l\u2019on a l\u2019audace de se lancer, d\u2019int\u00e9grer le changement, c\u2019est tout un monde qui s\u2019offre \u00e0 nous. \u00c0 condition, bien s\u00fbr, de franchir le pas avec discernement.
