Chez EllGeo Re, nous croyons fermement au pouvoir de l\u2019inspiration et de la r\u00e9silience, des valeurs qui sont au c\u0153ur de nos engagements. C\u2019est dans cet esprit que nous avons fi\u00e8rement apport\u00e9 notre soutien \u00e0 cette jeune Mauricienne qui vient de r\u00e9aliser un exploit extraordinaire : la premi\u00e8re travers\u00e9e en solo d\u2019Afrique du Sud \u00e0 Maurice, \u00e0 bord d\u2019un Cessna 172*. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 notre contribution, parmi d\u2019autres, elle a pu surmonter les derniers obstacles logistiques de son aventure.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Baptis\u00e9 Flying in the Face of Adversity<\/i>, ce projet symbolise bien plus qu\u2019un simple vol. C\u2019est un clin d\u2019oeil aux nombreux combats auxquels Pallavee a d\u00fb faire face. Contre la maladie mais pas que\u2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

N\u00e9e avec un trou dans le c\u0153ur, elle est diagnostiqu\u00e9e d\u2019une scoliose \u00e0 11 ans, une pathologie de la colonne vert\u00e9brale qui n\u00e9cessite une intervention chirurgicale complexe. En d\u00e9cembre 2016, avec l\u2019aide de l\u2019association S.A.C.I.M., elle subit une op\u00e9ration \u00e0 c\u0153ur ouvert en Inde, suivie d\u2019une chirurgie correctrice. De retour \u00e0 Maurice, Pallavee essaie de reprendre sa vie en main mais surtout, s\u2019autorise \u00e0 r\u00eaver. Elle s\u2019imagine bien en pilote d\u2019avion\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

Son r\u00eave la m\u00e8ne en Afrique du Sud, o\u00f9 elle d\u00e9croche sa licence de pilote professionnel apr\u00e8s plusieurs tentatives. Mais, fid\u00e8le \u00e0 sa volont\u00e9 de se surpasser, Pallavee voit plus loin : elle veut inspirer et prouver que rien n\u2019est impossible. C\u2019est ainsi qu\u2019elle con\u00e7oit son projet de travers\u00e9e a\u00e9rienne, couvrant des kilom\u00e8tres \u00e0 travers le Mozambique, Madagascar et La R\u00e9union, avant d\u2019atterrir \u00e0 Maurice apr\u00e8s six jours de vol.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cependant, ce p\u00e9riple n\u2019a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 sans d\u00e9fis. Avant m\u00eame de pouvoir d\u00e9coller, Pallavee se heurte \u00e0 la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019obtenir une couverture d\u2019assurance pour son avion, indispensable pour atterrir \u00e0 Maurice. C\u2019est ici qu\u2019EllGeo Re est intervenue en lui offrant le soutien n\u00e9cessaire pour r\u00e9aliser son r\u00eave. Dimanche apr\u00e8s-midi, Pallavee a finalement touch\u00e9 le sol mauricien, accueillie par sa famille, ses amis et les partenaires qui ont cru en elle, dont EllGeo Re, repr\u00e9sent\u00e9e par Jean-Alain Francis, CEO, venu personnellement l\u2019accueillir \u00e0 l\u2019a\u00e9roport.<\/span><\/p>\n
