Ashwin joined EllGeo Re in 2021 as an Assistant Reinsurance Broker and holds a BSc(Hons) in Banking and Finance. Being now our Reinsurance Broker, he assists the team in achieving targets, while grasping as much valuable knowledge as possible within a pleasant working environment 😊

Firm believer that the dynamic nature of the insurance sector is aligned with his personal and professional ambitions, he is looking forward to achieving his CII qualifications to keep progressing professionally 🎓

Being a music lover ever since he remembers, Ashwin learnt to play a few musical instruments during his journey. Self-taught guitarist, he never misses an occasion to make his guitar come to life 🎸 One of his greatest hobbies is certainly cooking: he’s always trying to recreate healthier versions of fast-foods 👨🏻‍🍳 Among football, going out in nature for a hike/trekking, and gaming casually, Ashwin is rarely bored during his free time. Most of all, he loves to spend time with his Rottweiler and his 2 griffons 🐶
His guilty pleasure? The famous Mauritian “Mine bouillie Poulet Miroir”… He even travels across the island to find the hidden gems to satisfy the foodie in him 🍜

For him, the biggest risk someone can take is to do nothing. He goes through a saying in life that goes as follows:
